“Oslo” and the Two-State Solution: A Planned Betrayal of the Palestinians?

On April 15, Oslo Solidarity invites you to a conversation between Avi Shlaim, Hilde Henriksen Waage, Raymond Johansen, and Mads Gilbert at Vulkan Arena. The conversation will be moderated by Linn Stalsberg.

We will take a critical look at the background of the Oslo process and Norway’s role in the negotiations, and also address the current situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, Israel, and the United States’ attack on Iran, as well as possible paths forward.

What were the actual premises of the Oslo Accords? What role did the so-called Oslo Channel and Norwegian actors—especially the Labour Party—play in the process? And did Israel ever truly intend to accept a two-state solution?
